A Dual Sport is a niche in the off road dirt bike community that is steadily growing in the United States.  A Dual Sport bike is one that is street legal with headlights, brake/tail lights, horn and tag that is street legal to ride on public roads and highways.  Organized rides are held all over the country and the vast majority are held for charitable purposes.  The Armenia Dual Sport is held once a year and all monies collected benefit the Armenia Methodist Church.

Trail sections on organized rides consist of various mileage of woods trail with transfer sections to another trail section made on public roads.  They can be anywhere from 60 to 70 miles of total length for the day.  In short, most are similar to an untimed dirt bike enduro and a route sheet holder is recommended.
